We are delighted to invite you to PLA’s upcoming, virtual half-day webinar on Tuesday 8th September. During the conference, we will explore what we want prison education to look like during this period of change and in the future.

  • Essential Digital Skills development (Sero Consulting/ETF) – supporting trainers to deliver the new digital skills qualification
  • Inclusion in secure estates for neurodiverse / SEND residents(CCConsultancy/ETF) exploring support and resources which have been developed for those with special educational needs and disabilities
  • Leadership in Prison Education: Meeting the challenges of the new system (Angela Sanders) – exploring the findings of PLA’s recent report on PLA’s recent reprot funded by the Further Education Trust for Leadership
  • Letter writing for self-reflection, creative expression and communication (Safe Ground) – exploring how we can support and incorporate letter-writing in
  • In-cell TV channels for communication and education (WayOut TV) – exploring how WayOut has supported education during the lockdown
